The pages linked above are an excellent way to begin to see some of the issues faced by responsible Doberman owners in the US.  Breed specific legislation is not really about specific breeds; often this legislation is the public face of animal rights extremists.  It is important to understand the background in order to learn how to successfully prevent BSL and further erosion of the rights we as Americans have taken for granted.
